Empty Spaces is my first photographic essay, begun over ten years ago.
The project explores spaces that were once full of life and are now overtaken by stillness — places where time seems suspended, waiting for someone to return and inhabit them again.

Through these images, I am interested in the quiet presence of absence, in the traces left behind, and in the atmosphere that remains when human activity disappears.
